Traditional folk dance tunes form the core of the Kingsfolk repertoire. Mostly Celtic in origin, you will probably find that many of these tunes are familiar and easy to listen to. They include the foot-stomping Dashing White Sergeant and the lilting Skye Boat Song. During breaks in the dancing the band plays a wider range of music such as Davy, Davy Knick-Knack, Marie’s Wedding and the Irish Rover.
